The full moon of November 14, 2016 is not only the biggest, closest and brightest supermoon of this year. It’s the closest supermoon in 68 years since January 26, 1948. It will be another 18 years before it’s this big again. The same side of the moon always faces the planet, but part of it is in shadow.
